Data And Systems Analyst

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Data Team within Warwick Business School (WBS), leading on enhancing our Data and Systems. Working alongside a team of peer Data & Systems Analysts, you’ll work on creating dashboards and reports using PowerBI for a range of stakeholders, and work to enhance the quality of our Data and related-processes.
You’ll pro-actively seek to understand policy and practice in the area, identifying potential efficiencies to enhance student and staff satisfaction and ease of use, and scoping out innovations for implementation.
You’ll be technically adept, with an excellent understanding of how to extract, manipulate, and validate data. Core to this will be competency in Excel and Access, although experience of using other software packages is highly desirable, including knowledge of writing SQL queries.
Experience with data visualisation packages such as PowerBI is essential as you will be working with teams across the School to support and develop dashboards and reports as required.
With a problem-solving mindset, you’ll be able to quickly learn new systems and processes, identifying ways in which they can be improved and working with your team, peers, and other stakeholders to enhance existing services.
You’ll lead on a number of projects across the School’s operations as required and be expected to contribute towards wider team and school strategy, through collaborative working with the Software Development Team to test new developments.
You’ll be expected to contribute towards establishing a strong community of practice within the School relating to Data and Systems, sharing best practice and innovations in this area as well as delivering training.
