The Role
As a Data Architect (Data Vault), you will be responsible to visualise and design the organisation's enterprise data management framework. This framework describes the processes used to plan, specify, enable, create, acquire, maintain, use, archive, retrieve, control, and purge data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform data modeling by applying best practices.
- Work with projects and Programs to define, govern and maintain the Data technology architecture including data platforms, integration, and application development.
- Develop and implement an overall organisational data strategy that is in line with business process.
- Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models for the above platforms.
Your Profile
Key skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- Experience working in a team in one of the following functions: Enterprise Data Architect, application development, database development.
- An enterprise approach with ability to work with stakeholders at all levels within the business and Digital organisations.
- Knowledge of using Cloud technologies like GCP/AWS/AZURE.
- Experience in roles delivering Operational and Analytics solutions.
- Experience in data modeling for SQL and No-SQL platforms including Relational, Dimensional, Data Vault and Document data modelling.
- Experience with modern Data Architecture such a cloud-based data platform technologies (GCP, AWS, Big Query, Snowflake, Cloud SQL) and stream processing (Kafka).
- Experience with Enterprise Cloud Data management and integration tools such as Informatica.
