Data Architect Financial Services Data Regulatory

Robert Half is assisting its client, a Global Consulting Firm, in their search for a Data Architect to collaborate with a Financial Services organisation on a Data Management programme in accordance with the Data Directorate policy, standards, and controls. The primary focus will be to initially support Regulatory Reporting, bringing a professional and technical approach to ensure the correct level of management and controls are implemented across all data usage.

Contract Assignment Details:

• 12 Months Contract Duration
• Fully Remote from the UK
• Daily Rate via umbrella/PAYE at C.£550 p/day
• Subject to financial and criminal check on-boarding - anticipated start for w/c 4th of March

The Data Architect will need experience in:

• Manage data at an organisational level within the Financial Services sector, leveraging deep knowledge of data management principles.
• Demonstrate exceptional stakeholder management skills, advising senior leaders and effectively communicating with colleagues at all process levels.
• Apply a design thinking mindset to collaborate across disciplines, solving problems, assessing risks, and driving agile solutions.
• Utilise technical understanding of data and information technology landscapes, including SAS, Oracle, and BI systems, to influence data utilisation.
• Employ knowledge and experience in design, including logical and physical data modelling, data warehousing, and data analysis, for regulatory reporting.
• Lead changes to operating models across Process, Organisation, Technology, and Information domains.
• Work across the change lifecycle, from inception to implementation and warranty stages, ensuring seamless integration of data management solutions.
