SalaryEthan James Group are working on behlaf of a large Facilities Management provider to recruit an experienced Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Shift Supervisor on a small/medium sized Data Centrein the Hayes, Greater London area.
The ideal Data Centre Shift Supervisor's duties are as follows
- Understand the maintenance or extra works to be carried out and identify the potential impact to health and safety and critical plant operation through the generation of Critical Environment Work Authorisation (CEWA).
- Identify and utilise mitigating measures to address the potential impact, through the implementation of safe systems of work and operational procedures, (SOP and EOP)
- Supervise the engineering team on critical maintenance and operations.
- Assist with the asset condition reviews for engineering plant.
- Comply with the customers RNOW change approval system.
- Actively supervise engineering risks through applying CERM methodologies.
- Be proficient in the use and application of CERMview.
- Be an appointed High Voltage Authorised Person
- Establish and develop trusting, meaningful relationships with the site engineering team
- Lead cultural change on a daily basis, through being an effective role model for safe working practices, compliance, quality standards and best practice methods
The ideal Data Centre Shift Supervisor will need to
- have previous experience leadingor supervising within a Data Centre environment
- be fully qualified electrically to minimum NVQ Level 3
- HVAP (High Voltage Authorised Person)
- H&S qualified
