As we constantly strive to have the most talented individuals working with us, a vacancy has arisen for a Data Centre Specialist to carry out a number of important tasks with an extremely high level of accuracy. If successful, your main duties will include but are not limited to:Registry/Print Room Duties:Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team and be capable of performing the following tasks:- Counter service, customer requests.- Indexing in to Cimage- Scanning of drawings, QC check of microfilm and CAD file image.- Numerous QC checks- Good numeracy skills- Excellent Customer Service skillsScanning Duties:Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team and be capable of performing the following tasks:- Booking in records in to appropriate Database- Preparation of records.- Scanning of records into Iris Powerscan- Complete Quality Checking of records- Check and run reports in preparation for archiving- 5% or less deviations per month are expectedService Centre Team Duties:Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team and be capable of performing the following tasks:- Handling boxes to various areas- Dealing with New customers- Receipt of records with conditions of acceptance- Booking in of records- Indexing records in to Cimage- Scanning of records- Check and run reports in preparation to archive- Retrieval of archive boxes as per customer requests- Research and retrievals as per customer requests.- Accurate and consistent data entry on to Cimage- 5% or less deviations per month are expectedLegacy Projects Team Duties:Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team and be capable of performing the following tasks:- Identification and management of historic records, resulting in refined local processes/management of the records to offsite storage including:- All of previous roles- Sorting of legacy records- Boxing of legacy records- Bagging of Legacy records for destruction- Support with ad-hoc demands of the Sellafield Information and Records Management Team.What we offer:- An attractive starting salary plus bonus.- Pension scheme and flexible benefits (including healthcare).- 23 days holiday plus public holidays.What we require:- Administration or data entry experience is essential for this role.- Experience of indexing, scanning and both checking and running reports is also essential.- Experience of carrying out administrative duties within a warehouse environment would be extremely advantageous for this position.- Ability to review confidential documents and input data onto databases.- Ability to work to administrative targets.- A high level of accuracy with the capability to process large volumes of data within agreed timescales.- IT literate with knowledge and experience of using Microsoft based packages (Word/Excel/ Outlook).- The ability to learn bespoke software specific to Iron Mountain`s requirements.- The willingness and ability to apply for an enhanced level of security clearance.This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and innovative organisation where various training and progression opportunities are available.
