- Data Centre Supply Chain Manager
We’re looking for a Supply Chain Manager to lead the deployment of a multifaceted global introduction plan and ensure alignment exists between all key functions. Power your potential, leading cross functional global projects, in partnership with our functional leaders in DBU and Corporate Sourcing.
In this role, here are some of the ways you will make an impact:
Lead efforts within one or more Supply Chain functions including materials, production, inventory, logistics, demand management and order fulfillment ensures internal and external customers' expectations and requirements are met from end to end in each of the Supply Chains.
Create common Supply Chain processes and procedures by establishing collaborative business partner relationships.
Lead continuous improvement projects that align with Cummins Operating System and Functional Excellence direction and leverage common processes tools, and information systems.
Support Corporate Supply Chain initiatives and lead the cross-Business Unit planning processes to ensure intra-company alignment, address Supply Chain failures promptly to ensure operations stability.
Manage, coach, and develop staff; work with employees to set goals in training and development, performance, and career planning.
Develop, understand, and improve necessary Key Performance Indicators, analyze operational trends, and develop corrective action plans.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Supply Chain Knowledge - Influences, with the ability to concisely explain and/or elaborate on, the multi-disciplined and end-to-end integration of the flow of information, products, and services.
Inventory Management and Optimization - Uses analytics and algorithms to determine the optimal level of inventory investment across the end-to-end Supply Chain within specific constraints (warehouse space, customer delivery, etc.); provides guidance and expertise on planning parameter refinement; develops inventory strategies to support Cummins' strategy and not just a business unit strategy.
Project management- enclosure, design, deployment from supplier selection and prework on contract requirements, project kick off, development and launch, in time, scope and within budget.
Optimizes work processes - Knowing the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Materials KPI Management - Operates in relation to recent or historical outputs as compared to expectations of the organization to determine next steps to drive improvement; assesses gaps to the Supply Chain performance against the expectation of achieving target deliverables; interprets KPIs to understand end-customer impact; strategically balances trade-offs to influence one KPI while minimizing the impact to others.
B.S or BA in applicable field, MBA preferred, this position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

£57,760 - £72,200(depending on experience)
