As a Data Engineer with our client you will play a pivotal role in advancing their mission to empower customers with innovative IoT/Data solutions. You will collaborate with a dynamic team of experts to design, develop, and implement data-driven products that enhance operational efficiencies within the Emergency Services sector and beyond.

Responsibilities:

• Data Architecture and Cloud Migration: Design and implement scalable and robust data architectures to support the development of IoT solutions for the EMS sector.

• Data Integration: Develop and maintain data pipelines for efficient integration of diverse data sources, ensuring seamless connectivity and data flow.

• Database Management: Manage and optimise databases to store, retrieve, and analyse large volumes of data, ensuring data integrity and security.

• Data Modelling: Create and maintain data models that align with business requirements, ensuring efficient storage, retrieval, and analysis of data.

• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers and business development, to understand data requirements and contribute to the development of comprehensive solutions.

• Data Security: Implement and maintain security measures to protect sensitive data, adhering to industry best practices and compliance standards.

• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data processes, systems, and solutions to facilitate knowledge sharing and team collaboration.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer, with a focus on designing and implementing data solutions.

• Strong proficiency in database management systems, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.

• Expertise in data modelling and designing efficient data architectures.

• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.

• Experience with data integration tools and techniques.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Knowledge of IoT technologies and their applications is an advantage.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary - Up to 55k per annum depending on experience

• Remote/Hybrid Working would be considered for the right candidate
