The role involves contributing to an extensive Data Engineering project within an organization specialising in Healthcare services.
Essential Technical Proficiencies:
- Proficiency in Python, AWS, ETL processes, SQL, and data processing frameworks like Kafka (or similar technologies), coupled with experience in Redshift.
- Proven track record of developing robust, efficient data application systems, services, and platforms.
- Adeptness in coding principles and design patterns, including code and data versioning, dependency management, code optimization, error handling, logging, monitoring, validation, and alerting.
- Strong experience in crafting well-structured, thoroughly tested object-oriented Python code.
- Proficiency in employing CI/CD tools for code analysis, building, testing, and deployment.
- Solid understanding of architectural decisions for data storage and processing, focusing on cloud data services.
- Experience in programmatic deployment, scheduling, and monitoring of workflow components.
- Proficiency in formulating complex queries for both relational and non-relational data stores.
