Data Entry / Warehouse Operative

Connect Appointments are seeking a confident Data Entry/Warehouse Operative to join our prestigious client in Leeds.

Within this role, you will be responsible for inputting data into the in-house system, preparing records for scanning, photocopying covers. Whilst also working within the warehouse environment to retrieve the documents that you would be working with, therefore some manual handling is involved in the role.
The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm; paid weekly at £12.19 per hour.

Please Note - A valid basic DBS certificate (3-months old or a new application) is required to pass the required checks.

Working as a Data Entry/Warehouse Operative your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Retrieving records from warehouse storage
• Inputting data into an in-house system
• Preparing records for scanning
• Removing staples and photocopy covers
• Preparing documents in batches for scanners

To be successful within this position you will have the following skills and traits:

• Competent with IT systems
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment including manual handling
• Good communication skills

To ensure the smooth running of operations, each candidate must complete a strict government vetting process, including identity verification, financial checks, sanctions checks, and reference checks. Proof of address is also required in the form of an official letter dated within the last 3 months, such as a utility bill, phone bill, or bank statement
