Data Product Owner

My client is looking to take on a contract Product Owner for an initial 3-month contract with extremely strong likelihood of extension thereafter, for 12 months+ thereafter! The role will be mostly home based with occasional infrequent trips to Bristol as required and is paying £450 - £550pd (negotiable beyond this for the right person) INSIDE IR35.

The business is in the process of implementing and migrating to a modern, Azure-based data stack and so are looking for a Product Owner with experience working as a PO on data platforms to come in and create epics, user stories and features, groom / prioritise the backlog, manage risk etc.

Essential Skillset / Experience:
- Extensive Product Ownership experience in a Data Engineering function undergoing major transformation
- An UNDERSTANDING NOT hands-on capability of Azure Data stack: Data Factory, Data Bricks, Synapse, Data Lake, Power BI etc
- Creating Epics, User Stories & Features
- Backlog grooming / prioritisation

Desirable Skillset / Experience
- Product Owner / Manager certification
- Experience working in public sector / government
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Power Platform / Power Apps
- Azure
