Data Quality Engineer - Camden/Hybrid - 6 month contract (Outside IR35)

Are you an experienced Data Quality Engineer with proficiency in SQL and data querying? Are you interested in joining a giant in the retail and fashion sector?

As the Data Quality Engineer you will be at the forefront of the team ensuring quality is maintained in the overall data, data pipelines and data warehouse.

You will get the opportunity to define the Data Quality Engineering approach, making fundamental changes through the design and implementation of a modern data ecosystem that underpins the companies bold growth ambitions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Designing and executing comprehensive data validation strategies, including data profiling, data cleansing, and data transformation.
• Conducting Data Quality assessments and audits to evaluate adherence to Data Quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborating with data engineering teams to design and implement automated Data Quality checks and monitoring processes.

KEY SKILLS

• Proficiency in SQL and data querying validation and testing purposes.
• Hands on experience with Snowflake, Airflow or DBT.
• Familiarity with data integration, ETL processes, and data governance frameworks.
• Solid understanding of data structures, relational databases and data modelling concepts.
