Team/Role Overview
The Chief Data Office is responsible for planning, implementation, communications, training, compliance monitoring, and establishment of Citigroup’s Controlled Data Management Environment supporting our Enterprise Information Assets.
The Data/Information Mgt Analyst is a strategic professional who stays abreast their developments within own field and contributes to data transformation and remediation strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.
What you’ll do
- This function covers incumbents responsible for various data activities, which include data analysis, maintenance, Data Quality, and data remediation management for one or many ICG lines of business
- Responsible for following established guidelines and identifying and resolving problems
- Use some independence of thought but to refer more complex problems to supervisors or other experts
- Contribute to work flow or process change and redesign, and to form a basic understanding of the specific product or process
- Accountable for regular reporting or process administration as owner
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
What we’ll need from you
- University/Bachelors Degree preferred
- Experience in Data Quality, Data Remediation and with Data Analysis
- Strong Excel Skills
- Strong Stakeholder Engagement
- Excellent Communication
- Root cause and Data analysis
