£60,000 to £65,000 + 8% Pension + Company Benefits

On offer is the exciting opportunity for a Data Scientist to step into a brand-new Data Team in a leadership position; working within a global engineering organisation, you will have utilise your problem solving mindset to develop your technical skills and make your mark within the company and offer insight into its current and future growth plans to assist the UK Government.

In this role, the successful Data Scientist will be applying statistical models to a range of real-worlds problems, leading the delivery of analytic outputs for multiple projects and clients, you will be responsible for contributing to building the knowledge and skills of the science team.

This role would suit a Data Scientist with Python or R experience looking to develop their skillset and progress their career in a global engineering organisation offering lots of career progression opportunities.

THE ROLE:

• Applying statistical models to real world-world problems.
• Lead delivery on projects.
• Line management.
• Growing the skills and knowledge of the science team.

THE PERSON:

• Data Science modelling from scratch.
• Management experience.
• British Citizen, able to get security clearance.
