Your new role

At this Globally renowned Financial Organisation you will be working within the Operational Analytics team supporting several analytics and data science capabilities including:

• Working on Machine Learning technologies, large language models and programming.
• Development of algorithms and Machine Learning models to improve our understanding and prediction of operational issues and opportunities in business Service Delivery encompassing technology and process.
• Delivery of Business Intelligence via provision of dashboards, visualisations, and ad-hoc data analysis tools.
• Analytics / Data Science consultative service - partnering with operational and business colleagues to understand business needs and recommend/trial data driven solutions and approaches.

The team works in an Agile manner.
What you'll need to succeed

• Great experience with Machine Learning tools and programming.
• Strong background as a Data Scientist / Engineer.
• Experience working with databases, e.g. SQL Server.
• Expertise with SnowFlake databases.
• Great expertise working with data visualisation tools, building dashboards and reporting on tools such as Power BI, Kabana or Tableau.
• Exposure to Machine Learning methods and technologies, including LLM.
• Openness and interest in learning new technologies in this role.
• Exposure to / interest in Agile / Scrum delivery methodologies.
• Experience working within a Cloud environment (AWS preferred) would be a bonus.
• Strong communication and presentation / relationship building skills.
