My client, a leading financial services firm are looking for a Data Security Manager to join them on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for ensuring company data is held securely by creating principles of Data Security alongside the Data Governance Manager. Your primary purpose is to mitigate threats and create solutions to perform their tasks across the data estate.

Essential Experience:

· Relevant experience in Data Security management ideally in a regulated environment.

· Knowledge of Data Security principles and best practices.

· Experience in Microsoft Purview / Microsoft Security.

· Experience in developing and implementing Data Security strategies.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) may be preferred by some employers.
