We are currently recruiting for a Data Services Officer within the Data Services team.
Based in Eastbourne, an exciting opportunity exists to play a pivotal role in our dynamic and expanding company, taking day-to-day responsibility for our data processes.
About the Role
Some of the day-to-day tasks of this Data Services Officer position are outlined below, but other ad-hoc duties may be required:
- Assessing and specifying the immediate and long-term business needs for product data, for business intelligence and customer requirements.
- Internal liaison, both commercial and technical to assess, advise, and deliver our business data needs.
- Sourcing product data from different suppliers in the book, entertainment, and other industries as required.
- Ensuring that we are provided with the highest quality and most accurate data available. In turn, ensuring our customers are provided with the same quality.
- Liaise with our sales team and customers to define individual and generic data needs.

Additional Information
This is a full-time position and suitable for home working with periodic days in the Eastbourne office.
Essential Skills
The ideal candidate for this Data Services Officer role will have the following experience/skills:
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Experience with XML, CSV, and other data file types
- Experience with ONIX and other industry data standards would be an advantage, but not essential
- Scheduling and project management experience
