Permanent   

FT – 35 hours per week

**Hybrid with 1 or 2 weekly visits to our London Office

Our central Data Strategy and Solutions team are keen to appoint a Data Strategy Analyst who will be ready to support, influence and implement the Data Strategy for our marketing functions.

In this new role you will be our dedicated Data Strategy Analyst. Directly influencing key business decisions, driving efficiency, and promoting growth by implementing solutions that realise the value of our data assets.

You will co-create and implement End-to-End Data Strategies for our exciting market channels. In fact, you’ll be key to finding solutions that make our strategies a reality that empower all our business units to utilise data for enhanced insights and customer outcomes.

You will work through delivering parts of the Data Strategy and solving real business problems. You will recommend solutions based on a combination of analytics, process and technology and then be integral in managing these across the business. It’s a challenging but important role which will see you work closely and deliver with the Director of Data Strategy, Product, Marketing Optimisation and technology teams.

You will have a constant focus on leveraging data through a marketing perspective.

** Hybrid working, you will be required to attend our Kings Cross, London Office once or twice a week. You will need to be within a reasonable commuting distance to undertake this role.

Main ResponsibilitiesOur Data Strategy Analyst will be critical for our Data Activation and Innovation at Saga. You will be able to innovate to unlock new data opportunities across all our customer channels.

In this role you will be fully accountable for the following areas;


Data Movement and Utilization: Understand the movement and usage of data across online and offline channels. Ensure accurate data harvesting and utilization.
Strategy Development for Marketing: Develop strategies to maximize data value, focusing on personalised marketing campaigns.
Collaborate with the business, particularly in marketing. You will focus on improving how we manage and leverage data for personalised campaigns
Technical Proficiency: Implement data strategies across the entire marketing funnel – you will understand how best to leverage data from and to Adobe tools and media platforms like Meta.
Data Collection and Utilization: Manage the collection of permission data from multiple sources, including external partners. Ensuring correct usage of data is applied.
Continuous Learning and Strategy Enhancement: Stay updated with the latest trends in Data Strategy. Seek to continuously enhance skills to contribute to the evolution of the company's Data Strategy.

The Ideal CandidateWorking as our Data Strategy Analyst, you will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience;


Be technically savvy, understand data architectures, ideally with a strong emphasis on Adobe platforms, to effectively ensure that data flows in the way that we make the best use of it in the right way.
Be able to write up business requirements to highlight data needs, use and value.
Work with technology and data teams to find and implement solutions as part of a broader team.
Demonstrate excellent numeracy and be a natural critical thinker.
Can assess complex project requirements and work in consultation with stakeholders to find effective solutions.
Have working knowledge of personalised marketing processes (e.g. in Adobe) including an excellent working knowledge of the typical data sources and processes required in the build and execution of marketing campaigns.
Current knowledge and experience of GDPR and the consumer consent landscape.
Will bring to the business; high energy, tenacious and go-getting attitude.
