Responsibilities:
- Designs, develops and maintains databases.
- Designs, implements and supports database backup, recovery systems, database migration and archiving systems and procedures.
- Implements database security infrastructure and manages user access accounts.
- Collaborates with architects and technical specialists to identify proper hardware and software implementations.
- Plans, installs and tests software upgrades and patches.
- Develops, plans and establishes database performance baselines.
- Monitors performance trends to identify and correct problems.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution, and/or equivalent and relevant experience is required.
- Database Management and Administration experience.
- Microsoft SQL Server
- My SQL Database
- Oracle Database
- Oracle Database Administration (DBA)
- SQL Database Administration.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- IBM Cognos Business Intelligence
- IBM Informix
- Postgre SQL Administration
- Ingres
