Database & Reporting Engineer

Job description:

Superior Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Database & Reporting Engineer for a client within the Energy sector based in Aberdeen.

About the role:

You will take responsibility for analysis, design, development, maintenance, administration and support of databases and dependent reporting including data-management.

Skills required:

Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server database development & administration (SSAS, SSIS, SSRS, SQL Server Agent Jobs, maintenance, backup, performance tuning)

Professional experience with reporting design, development, architecture and related source control/documentation             

Strong knowledge of database design, planning, architecture and development           

Good understanding of database Administration (Data Migration, Source Control, Backup, Performance Tuning, Frequency-based Optimization and Management)

Understanding of procedural/standards definition and compliance including change control and related documentation  

This is a permanent full time position
