Flowers Manor in Chippenham is looking for Care Assistants to join our Team.
Flowers Manor is a new, luxury purpose built home with all the facilities and equipment you would expect and more in a new home.
We have great residents and Team, of which we are looking to grow with caring, professional people who enjoy their role and bring smiles and laughter into the home.
Flowers Manor, opened in 2021 in the centre of Chippenham, is one of three homes owned by Elmfield Care, which is a young, vibrant company looking after our Aged Residential and Dementia Care community. However, our Teams are the most important part of the home.
We take pride in our ethos, the quality of the care and facilities that we have, operating out of brand new purpose built luxury care homes within the South West.
· We have been awarded the Top 20 Small Care Group in the UK carehome.co.uk award several years running and have a home in the Top 20 homes in the South West.
· The homes are fabulous and have lots of themed rooms from Cinema, Tea room, Garden room and Hairdressers, as well as lovely gardens.
We train and pay our Teams well and our homes are fun and enjoyable in which to live and work. Our Teams are passionate and caring and want any candidate to be the same.
You will be working under the direction of the Senior Carers and your role will include;
· Caring for our residents,
· General assistance in our residents’ day to day lives, such as mealtimes, activities and trips or just a chat
· Helping with Mobility
· Personal care·
· General hospitality
· Completing Care notes and assisting with care plan updates for your residents
· Being a key worker to your selected residents
We have lots of equipment, a home built for care and easy to use care systems to make your job easier and more comfortable for the resident, so you can spend quality time with your residents, in a fantastic environment.
We offer:
· Training and NVQs, and promotion where we can – even if you have not done care before, we can train you to become a great carer.
Hours are:
· 42 hours per week, in shifts from 8am to 8pm, 3 shifts on and 3 shifts off over a rolling 6-week rota.
(This enables a 9-day break by taking one shift pattern off)
· Salary: £12.10 per hour (April onwards)
