Day Concierge

Position: Day Concierge - ASAP Start!

Location: South East London & Croydon

Salary: £13 per hour

Overview: Join our service delivery team as a Day Concierge and play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our project.
As an integral part of the support network, you'll collaborate closely with support workers, contributing to the day-to-day running of our service.

Responsibilities:

• Warm Reception: Welcome residents and visitors, ensuring they sign in and out.
  Handle inquiries, provide accurate information, and guide individuals to the relevant staff members.


• Immediate Support: Address residents' immediate needs, offering reassurance where necessary.
  Schedule follow-up appointments with key workers or external agencies to ensure sustained support.


• Administrative Support: Process incoming/outgoing post, meticulously recording and logging all correspondence.
  Maintain a tidy and organised reception/support office area.


• Daily Oversight: Maintain a comprehensive view of daily activities and scheduled appointments.
  Coordinate tasks and responsibilities among team members during shifts.


• Diary Management: Keep the Unit diary updated with tasks, appointments, meetings, and essential information.
  Ensure timely follow-up through emails.


• File Management: Maintain and update local filing systems to ensure relevance and efficiency.


• Supportive Tasks: Offer assistance to residents for appointments or daily tasks under the guidance of a Senior Support Worker.


• Safeguarding: Actively seek advice and raise safeguarding alerts when suspecting harm to residents.


• Administrative Assistance: Provide additional administrative support as directed by the unit manager.

Essential Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS: Valid within the last 3 years.


• Educational Qualification: GSCE level or equivalent.


• References: Ability to provide 5 years of referencing.


• Numeracy Skills: Proficient numeracy skills to handle various tasks associated with Residents' Personal Allowance.

Salary: £13 per hour.
