Day Services Manager (Learning Disabilities)

Role: LD Adults Day Services Manager

Salary: Up to 32,000

Location: Sandwell

I am currently seeking a DAY SERVICES MANAGER for an adult Learning Disabilities service in Sandwell.
This service has facilities to support those in need of both one-to-one support and group support and the adults at the service can access a variety of different activities such as Voluntary work in charity shops, swimming, outdoor pursuits, understanding money workshops, key skills workshops, access to sensory centres, cooking and meal preparation workshops, weekly discos and days out to local attractions such as Black Country Living Museum and Dudley Zoo.
The service is rated GOOD and it will be your responsibility to maintain and stretch this to an outstanding. You will also be required to complete rotas, supervision, attend managers meetings, liaise with 3rd party companies and families as well as authorise and arrange the activities calendar
This role would be perfect for someone who is looking for their first step into management or someone who is established but no longer wants the stress of taking registration of a 24/7 service. You will have experience in leading a team and setting an example as well as experience with supervisions and one to ones.
You will have outstanding knowledge on CQC rules and regulations, hold your NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care and have a minimum of 2 years experience in Learning Disabilities.
For your hard work and commitment you can expect a salary of up to 32,000 per year, the opportunity to complete your NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management and the opportunity to stay in the care sector but only work Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (Weekends occasionally depending on the event or activity taking place)
