Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team for a one-day assignment, providing support to Key Stage 3 and 4 students in Derby. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the implementation of lesson plans under the guidance of the classroom teacher.
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional help.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Support classroom management and help maintain a conducive atmosphere for learning.
Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
Qualifications and Skills:
Relevant experience working with Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience and empathy when working with students of diverse abilities.
Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and other staff members.
Knowledge of the national curriculum is desirable.
Requirements:
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
Right to work in the UK.
