Your role
Are you a loans professional with front to back knowledge of the syndicated loans market? Do you want to work in a middle office role within Operations that utilizes your skillsets from loan administration/agency/closing through to documentation, syndication and transaction management? Do you enjoy working with clients, agents, lenders, borrowers, legal counsel and other logistical functions? We are looking for someone with these attributes to:

- work directly with the business in structuring and closing primary deals
- liaise with investors and incoming lenders to close syndication
- review and comment on primary documentation
- manage waivers and amendments
- provide agent and transaction management support to borrowers and sponsors
- facilitate the closing of secondary trades
- oversee vendors and outsourcing partners
- managing exceptions and queries from other stakeholders
- involvement in project based change initiatives

Your team
Global Loan Services is UBS’s loans support team in the Investment Bank. We are a diverse team of circa 50 loan professionals with a presence in 5 countries. As part of the Investment Bank we provide direct support to all UBS Investment Bank businesses that originate or trade the loan product sharing our knowledge and expertise in order to deliver solutions based support. Working as part of a small, but expanding onshore team with a broad scope of responsibilities related to the loan product. We also offer bank wide learning opportunities, a commitment to new ways of working, a sustainable work life balance and opportunity to enhance loan market knowledge.
Your expertise
- ideally 5+ years of work experience, the majority of which in a finance sector firm with a loans focus
- basic understanding of LMA loan documentation
Loan Agency, Loan Administration background would be advantageous
- preferably university degree or equivalent education
- an understanding of operational risk
- a desire to simplify and deliver process efficiencies
