Deals Technology - Software Developer - Manager

About the role
You will be supporting the development and enhancement of in-house developed applications used across our Deals Practice. Projects will be mostly green field in nature, so you will have the opportunity to develop new solutions from the ground up and have significant input on technical direction.
Your responsibilities will include but may not be limited to

• Creating bespoke applications using .NET and React to serve the needs of our staff and clients.
  
• Assisting our dedicated User Experience team to refine design ideas before working to develop and deliver them.
  
• Working alongside our Testing Team to ensure that your applications are as close to the requirements as possible and most importantly are bug free!
  
• Producing technical documentation and developer guides alongside the projects you develop.
  
• Taking part in code reviews and providing input on architectural decisions.
  
• Engaging in our sprint ceremonies ranging from daily standups to sprintly retrospective, refinement, and planning sessions.

Alongside other members of the team you will engage with senior members of our business and clients, helping to solve their business problems and generate value for our clients.
You will need significant experience demonstrating a number of the following skills

Technical skills

• Experience developing applications using the .NET6+ stack using C#
  
• Experience developing ASP.NET Web APIs
  
• Experience developing React Applications alongside the .NET stack using Typescript
  
• Experience using the GIT version control system
  
• An understanding of the Agile development process
  
• An understanding of cloud services such as Azure, Google Cloud and AWS
  
• Proven experience in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle
  

The following skills are also desirable

• Experience of Entity Framework, ADO.NET, and SQL
  
• Experience writing and reviewing technical documentation
  
• Javascript (jQuery, React, etc)
  
• Other coding languages and tools such as Python, Databricks, or similar.
  

Location

This position is a hybrid opportunity based out of either our Bristol or Belfast offices; the team spend between two and three days in the office on average otherwise working remotely.
