Principal Software Engineer

Principal/Lead Engineer - £90,000 - Hybrid Working - Bristol

The developer link are currently supporting a fast growing GovTech company who are looking to add a Lead Engineer to their team.

You will be working on critical projects, providing technical leadership across a team of engineers. This role requires both leadership and hands-on development.

Key Requirements

• You will be responsible for structuring, leading and growing the development team
• You will be tech agnostic but have a good understanding of C#/.Net, Python, Java
• You will be expected to set up and manage coding standards;
• reviewing code and ensuring these standards are adhered to
• You will be involved in the conceptual phase of projects, creating technical documentation and reviewing and approving project scope, timeframes and estimates
• Must be eligible for SC Clearance
• Must have a background in Government/Public Sector
