SalaryThe organisation has invested heavily in digital transformation / modernisation initiatives and are recruiting a Principal Software Engineer to join a recently established team, to lead on the build of a greenfield product as well as the continual development of a small team.
Salary: £85 - 90k + Excellent benefits package inc. large bonus / pension / healthcare
Location: 100% Remote (candidates must be based in the UK mainland)
Key skills/experiences:
- Leading, coaching and mentoring development teams
- Defining and implementing technical strategy
- Expertise in TypeScript and AWS Lambda
- Digital Identity / Auth Engine / IAM / OIDC / Oauth2
- IaC & CI/CD
- TDD
- Microservices & RESTful API development
Key responsibilities:
- Owning technical strategy to deliver against the product roadmap
- Defining coding practices for the team and champion the writing of clean and reusable code
- Act as the link between Engineering and Architecture
- Looking for opportunities to innovate and experiment
- Owning and defining the security and vulnerability actions for the team
- Identifying areas of future learning and development within the team
