We are currently seeking a Mandarin-speaking Debt Collector for an immediate start in a temporary position based in Wateringbury. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented and driven individual who is ready to commit to a new challenge and has the ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin.
Day-to-day of the role:- Contacting debtors and implementing repayment schedules and terms.
- Negotiating payment plans with individuals or businesses when required.
- Keeping accurate records and reporting on collection activity and account status.
- Handling debtor enquiries and resolving disputes related to billing.
- Collaborating with the finance team to reconcile accounts receivable.
- Ensuring compliance with debt collection laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in Mandarin and English.
- Previous experience in debt collection or a similar finance role.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Immediate availability to commit to a temporary role.
