As a Barclays Debt Structurer within Corporate Banking, you will work in a fast-paced environment. Our Large Corporate Lending teams are responsible for providing thought leadership for appropriate lending solutions for corporate clients. The primary purpose of your role is to provide structuring and origination discussions with clients and credit, helping drive existing and new lending activity.

- Originating and executing large corporate lending Debt transactions
- Acting as the reference point for Debt transactions in the region for Coverage colleagues
- Discussing the Debt product offerings and structures with clients
- Working with the execution teams to develop the AVP pool across pitch content and execution
- Cross selling the banks wider capabilities and help entrench positive client relationships
- Collaborating with other relevant internal teams: Credit Analysis, TM, Syndicate, Product Management, Coverage, Risk. Portfolio
- Managing the capital of the bank and seek to maximise returns for the risk and capital
- Excellent communication and presentation skills at all levels
- Ability to think creatively and identify innovative solutions
- Expert credit risk analysis skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
