Decontamination Assistant

We are seeking a full-time Dental Decontamination Assistant to join us at Hest Bank Dental Care in Lancaster, no prior experience is required for this role however a basic understand of sterilisation techniques and infection control protocols is advantageous.

Position Overview:

As a Dental Decontamination Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sterilisation of dental instruments and equipment. Your responsibilities will include:

Hours: full-time up to 40 hours per week

• Cleaning and sterilizing dental instruments
• Disinfecting treatment rooms and equipment
• Assisting with inventory management of supplies
• Following strict protocols and guidelines for infection control
• Performing routine maintenance on equipment

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should have:

• A keen eye for detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness
• Some knowledge of sterilisation techniques and infection control protocols (training provided if necessary)
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Relevant certification or willingness to obtain certification in dental decontamination
