Student and Campus Life (SCL) at Queen’s University Belfast, is currently seeking to appoint Deli Counter Assistants for The Union Shop.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy and friendly team. The Union Shop is a modern and unique store located in the Queen’s University Student Centre and Students’ Union, ‘One Elmwood,’
Deli Counter Assistants will assist the Deli Supervisor with the delivery of an efficient, effective, customer led Food to Go service.
The post holder will ensure that the highest levels of customer care are achieved, sufficient staff levels are maintained, and that health & safety is achieved at the highest standard.
You will be required to work Monday to Friday, which may include public and bank holidays to meet the needs of the business.
The Food to Go service is open 7am to 2pm, working hours between 6am to 3pm.
The successful candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate you have:
- Secondary school education
- Relevant food handling experience to include:
- Food preparation
- Excellent customer service
- Demonstrable ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
