Part Time And Full Time Hot Food / Deli Counter Assistants

Due to the continued growth of our Hot Food / provisions counter in Greens Food Fare, Lisburn, we are looking for a Hot Food/Deli Assistant to work as part of our team preparing and serving quality hot and cold deli products to our customers

We have flexible opportunities for staff to work 15 - 20 hours per week (Part Time) or 30 - 40 hours per week (Full Time) (Monday to Saturday) . Hours on a rota basis are from 6am to 3pm/4pm daily (Monday to Saturday). We can discuss rota options with applicants.

These are permanent positions although we would accept applications from students providing they have good availability for shifts during the day. Applicants must be 16 years or over.

Your duties will include:

· Assisting in preparing and cooking nutritious, interesting and fresh food.

· Comply with company food safety policies and legislation.

· Comply with HACCP procedures.

. · Complete production, wastage, temperature and cleaning records

· Preparing customer orders at the deli / Hot Food counter in a fast paced environment.

· Cleaning duties following our Clean As You Go procedure and daily/weekly store cleaning plan

We would like you to have:

• Previous experience in deli/food service (preferred but not essential)
• Good team working skills
• Excellent customers service skills
• An interest in cooking or relevant cooking experience
• High standard of cleanliness
• Health and Hygiene Certificate (preferred but not essential)
