Hours: Full time - 35 hours per week/ 70 hours over two weeks (nine-day fortnight)
The role
We are currently looking to recruit a Delivery Development Manager to join our team here at Housing 21.
Within the role you will be responsible for project management of multiple multi-million-pound construction projects with critical emphasis on providing specialist technical leadership for the design, construction and delivery of specific development projects to time and budget.
While the role is home based the successful candidate will be required to attend team meetings at our head office in Birmingham as required.

What we’re looking for
The essential requirements for the role include:
- Excellent knowledge of constructions standards, regulation and legislation including Health & Safety and proven experience of managing these at senior level.
- Excellent IT skills and used to working with Microsoft functionalities, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
- Knowledge and experience of different forms of building contract, familiarity with a range of building construction processes, experience of building refurbishment and new-build constructions
- Knowledge of Homes England funding and development procedures and relevant legislation
- Knowledge and experience of different types of Legal Agreements for Statutory Authorities
- Extensive experience of successful housing development, managing and resources and delivering projects
- A track record of project management and negotiation
- Experience of supervising, monitoring and managing a team of professional and technical staff
- Experience in using project management software, word processing, spreadsheets and databases
