Delivery Lorry Driver/Handyman

Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations. This is a physically demanding role that requires excellent driving skills and the ability to communicate effectively.

Duties:
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle, such as a van or truck, to transport goods
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
- Plan routes and follow delivery schedules
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers to ensure timely deliveries
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately and promptly
- Assist with warehouse duties as needed

Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a truck driver or in a similar role
- Ability to drive long distances and work flexible hours
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks
- Knowledge of commercial driving regulations
