Job description

Role summary

We are looking for a strategic and commercially minded account-based marketer who will be responsible for defining and delivering marketing initiatives that generate new sales pipeline and expand on existing opportunities within target accounts - we will be targeting a limited # of accounts e.g. 2-4 enterprises at one time. Working closely with our sales teams, you’ll play a key role in growing our ABM marketing function, an exciting and strategic area of focus for our business as we move to expand some of the biggest names in our customer list.

Responsibilities of role

  • Manage campaign budget and own a lead target - Generate revenue growth via account-based marketing campaigns to our largest enterprise accounts.

  • Campaign strategy and execution - Identify, create and project manage an account-based marketing plan that communicates our brand positioning and delivers against a Sales Qualified Lead (SQL) generation target:

    • Working cross-functionally across various channels (paid media, webinars, in-person events, podcast, email, web, social, etc) to ensure integrated and efficient execution of campaigns across various funnel stages.  

    • Targeting a very limited number of accounts (2-4 enterprise accounts). 

    • Establish and nurture strategic partner marketing initiatives from collaborative content, sponsored webinars, owned and industry events to support collateral.

    • Finding creative ways of building a presence online to continue brand awareness and thought leadership by engaging industry professionals and influencers.

  • Reporting and analysis - Define success metrics and own the performance analysis/tracking reports of all Demand Generation activities, ensuring ongoing optimisation and ROI. 

    • Analyse marketing funnel to develop insights and make recommendations on areas for optimisation/iteration and where we can run growth experiments to meet targets

  • Work closely with the sales team to:

    • Ensure swift follow-up and qualification of inbound leads

    • Build and experiment with ABM and influence pipeline from enterprise accounts (both new and existing)

    • Equip the sales team with the right assets and collateral to accelerate the sales pipeline

  • Owning marketing and sales tech, including Revops and making sure our CRM (Hubspot) is an enabler, not an obstacle.

Requirements

  • Experience in B2B marketing, with at least 2 years experience in an enterprise marketing setting. 
  • Experience delivering successful, highly targeted ABM campaigns and working with partners. 
  • Experience working closely with a hands-on sales team to enable their success.
  • Experience setting targets, managing campaign budgets, allocating and optimising spending across tactics.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with various marketing disciplines (content, design, digital, events, etc) and stakeholders to coordinate campaigns from end to end. 
  • SEO / SEM, PPC, email marketing and social media expertise - particularly LinkedIn and G2. Proven experience using LinkedIn for Demand Generation - sales navigator, LinkedIn ads, newsletters
  • Data-driven and results-focused. You understand that the ultimate role of marketing is to drive revenue growth, and you’re excited to experiment with all sorts of projects that achieve that outcome.
  • You believe everything starts with a deep understanding of the customer, their pains and their traits. You are hungry to understand the customer and love seeking them out, talking their language and being where they are.
  • Confident in making data-driven decisions (mine tools like HubSpot, LinkedIn, ChatGPT).
  • Highly organised with a solid understanding of demand gen in a scale-up business.
  • Experience leveraging AI to improve the quantity and quality of marketing initiatives. Curious and interested, and love exploring the latest and greatest trends and technology in marketing.
  • An excellent communicator – verbal, written and presentation – influencing and engaging at all levels of the organisation.
  • Someone with passion for trying new things, improving processes.
