As a Senior Manager in the Demand Generation org , you will take the lead on the strategy, development and execution of impactful, measurable, integrated Demand Generation Campaigns that drive leads, pipeline and ACV for industry and/or cloud solutions in the UK and Ireland, in close alignment with senior sales stakeholders.
This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and deliver a dedicated marketing programme to engage prospects and customers across all segments to support our pipeline generation goals for industry or cloud solutions. Working collaboratively with marketing stakeholders across Global Field Marketing, maximise initiatives and growth levers for the UKI including our Global Campaigns, Digital, Strategic Events, GTM Campaigns, ABM, Exec and SICs teams.
This pivotal role requires a strategic problem solver with a strong background in B2B integrated industry and/or cloud-based campaign strategy. An expert Demand Generation professional with proven background in defining, creating, and driving effective Demand Generation strategies for audience engagement, and lead generation, and proven experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, regional marketing teams, and sales colleagues to align on industry go-to-market objectives, complete the plan, and measure impact to drive pipeline and results.
Key responsibilities for this role
Reporting to the Director of Industry Demand Generation Marketing, you will be responsible for the strategy and implementation of the marketing plan in support of UKI business that spans the following areas:

  • Lead the Go-to-Market Strategy for Industry or Cloud: Develop and implement a comprehensive go-to-market marketing plan for a specific group of industries or cloud solutions to generate marketing-driven pipeline through collaborating with UK marketing functions, sales leadership, and aligning with EMEA & Global Field Marketing.
  • Orchestrating cross channels and stakeholders i.e. Digital, Events, Executive programs, ABM, Salesforce Innovation Centre engagements. Ensuring alignment with overarching Marketing and Business objectives, and achievement of Marketing targets.
  • Data-Driven Innovation: Owns the marketing-driven pipeline goals and targets for their respective segment, uses data-driven decision-making through analysis to drive performance of Marketing Sourced and Marketing Influenced pipeline from go-to-market activity, understand and target prospects and customers optimally, and aligns with the state of the sales business, to optimise the Marketing plan and spend to improve impact and engagement
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Effectively connect with key senior sales stakeholders, particularly the Senior vice president for industry or cloud sales leaders, industry advisors, account executives, and business development teams.
  • Plays a key role in translating industry or cloud business priorities into effective marketing strategy across the teams, aligning the priorities across both sales and marketing to achieve results. Collaborating as one Global Field Marketing team to maximising our Campaigns and Demand Generation initiatives.
  • Performance management: Results-driven. Lead on the annual marketing plan and goals for specific group of industries, accountable for the budget management and quarterly targets, initiatives, and metrics, ensuring measurable and accountable results.
  • Aligning and integrating efforts across multiple teams to encourage and empower an army of Trailblazer customers to evangelise Salesforce


Required Skills

  • 15+ years of professional experience with 10+ years of experience in industry/cloud marketing campaign roles
  • Strong background in leading and delivering industry Demand Generation campaign strategies and plans, from concept through to execution
  • History of achieving performance-marketing goals and targets. Results driven.
  • Adept at working across multiple customer and prospect segments for new logo, cross-sell, and upsell strategies
  • Ability to work across a sophisticated set of solutions, multi-functions, and multi-regional organizations.
  • Ability to think creatively, identify and solve complex problems
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Highly motivated, diligent, and a self-starter with vision
