SENIOR ITPROCUREMENT MANAGER FOR FINANCIAL SERVICES FIRM - LONDON BASED - £100,000-£110,000
This UK leading FINANCIAL SERVICES FIRM are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior IT Procurement Manager to lead their IT procurement team.
As a key player in the organisation, you will drive procurement strategies, manage supplier relationships, and ensure the cost-effective acquisition of IT products and services. Working with over 50,000 clients, you will liaise closely with a number of well-established stakeholders, and will lead a team of junior IT category managers, helping to meet company expectations and develop their skillset. This role provides the opportunity to spread your knowledge and make a difference within a multimillion pound organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the IT procurement team in developing and implementing strategic procurement solutions.
- Oversee the management and maintenance of supplier contracts and relationships, whilst ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the procurement department.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in IT procurement management, preferably within a regulatory or FINANCIAL SERVICES environment, and a strong track record of leading and developing a high-performing team.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and industry best practices.
- Experience working in/ with the public sector would be helpful.
- A degree in a relevant subject and CIPs/MCIPs is preferred but not required.
