Job Title: Business Development Manager – Conservatories, Windows & Doors
Industry Sector: Roof windows, loft ladders, roof access, loft ladders, roofing membrane, Building Envelope, Building Products, Contractors, Housebuilders, Developers, National and Independent Merchants
Area to be covered: North & Midlands
Remuneration: £40,000 - £55,000 + bonus
Benefits: £6,000 car allowance & comprehensive benefits package
The role of the Area Sales Manager Roof Windows will involve:
- Field sales role, selling a high end range of fabricated conservatories, windows and doors
- Generating business via nation and regional developers and house builders
- Taking over a territory targeted to turnover of circa £5,000,000 per annum
- Mix between managing and expanding existing accounts alongside generating new business in a successful area currently on target
- Updating the companies CRM system
The ideal applicant will be a Sales Manager Roof Windows experience with:
- Proven track record in field sales within the construction industry
- Must have sold into house builders and developers
- Ideally sold related products such as: windows doors, conservatories, sky lights, lanterns, roof lights, suntubes, roof hatches
- Track record of both managing/ expanding existing business and generating new relationships
- Technically capable and comfortable dealing with all levels of clients
- Hungry, driven, tenacious
- Organised and well presented
- Hard worker and comfortable with working both autonomously and as part of a team
