Demand Manager

As a Demand Manager at Victrex, you will play a pivotal role in forecasting and planning strategies to meet the evolving needs of our global markets, focusing on high-performance PEEK and PAEK polymer solutions. This position is instrumental in aligning product demand with production capabilities, ensuring optimal inventory levels and maximising customer satisfaction.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed demand forecasting and analysis to drive accurate production and inventory planning.
• Enhance demand planning processes through the implementation of best practices and innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure demand planning accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Lead cross-functional teams in the development of demand scenarios and action plans to address demand-supply imbalances.
• Monitor market trends and conduct competitor analysis to inform demand planning strategies.
• Manage the IBP (Integrated Business Planning) process to align with financial goals and operational capabilities.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and external partners to ensure effective demand planning and customer fulfilment.

Key Relationships and Stakeholders:

• Internal: Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Product Development teams.
• External: Suppliers, Customers, Market Research Firms.

What Experience and Qualifications Do You Need?

• Proven experience in Demand Planning/Management within a global manufacturing environment, preferably in the polymer, automotive, aerospace, energy, or electronics sectors.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience in leading cross-functional teams.
• Degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Proficiency in demand planning software and strong Excel skills.
