Demand Manager / Change Manager

My Public Sector client is looking for a Demand Manager / Change Manager to join the organisation on a 12 month FTC.
Your new role
The organisation is currently going through a large Transformation involving several different workstreams that are reviewing operating models and organisational strategies. Reporting into the Head of Demand Management and sitting within the Strategic Change Office (SCO), the Demand Manager will be responsible for applying change management expertise to the governance and delivery of projects/programmes within the change portfolio, championing the skills and behaviours required to implement effective change, and assuring delivery health across the portfolio.
The Demand Manager will be responsible for the delivery of the following professional services:
* Change Governance Support including scheduling, preparation and recording, including the analysis of portfolio information and providing recommendations to aid decision-making.
* Demand Management Centre of Excellence including owning all demand management processes, tools and templates used in delivery of demand to ensure these are adopted and continuously improved.
* This also includes coaching different stakeholder groups to adopt the outputs, monitoring stakeholder feedback and external best practice to shape the SCO Roadmaps.
What you\'ll need to succeed
* Evidenced delivery of strategic portfolio/programme management offices in a complex governance environment.
* Proven experience of reporting to strategic governance bodies and managing various different stakeholders at a senior level, often with conflicting priorities.
* Creation and professional development of demand management team including all aspects of people management.
* Previous experience of working in a Public Sector environment, understanding the challenges and being able to manoeuvre across a complex and often political environment.
* Proficient with a wide range of change and project management methodologies i.e., APMG, Prince2, Prosci etc…
* Experience of business intelligence strategy and reporting.
* PMO, Change Management and/or Project/Programme Management qualifications are essential.
* People Management and Development qualifications are also highly desirable.
