Job Description
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage and optimise inventory levels to ensure product availability.
- Collaborate with procurement and supply chain departments to create effective demand forecasts.
- Analyse sales data and trends to improve forecasting accuracy.
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to anticipate customer demands.
- Develop and maintain demand planning systems and processes.
- Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Report on inventory levels, sales, and supply chain progress.
- Ensure compliance with industry and company standards in all operations.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience in a similar demand planning role.
- Proficiency in demand planning software and database management.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Demonstrated experience in demand planning in the retail industry.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
