Ideally our client is seeking a dynamic, experienced Demand Planning Manager to lead their European business and drive their planning initiatives.
Position Overview
As the Demand Planning Manager, you will lead a small, highly skilled team responsible for Demand Planning within our European operations. You will spearhead S&OP initiatives, working cross-functionally with inventory, control, logistics, and merchandising teams to ensure optimal inventory levels and product availability. This role requires a passionate leader who can inspire and get the best out of a tight-knit team and possess change management expertise to drive continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a small team to drive Demand Planning for our European business, ensuring accurate forecasting and demand management.
- Spearhead S&OP initiatives, leading the process and driving cross-functional collaboration to optimise inventory, control, logistics, and merchandising efforts.
- Develop, implement, and improve Demand Planning processes and tools to support accurate forecasting and inventory optimisation.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand market trends, promotions, and product launches to drive accurate demand forecasts and inventory plans.
- Drive change management initiatives to continuously improve Demand Planning processes and accuracy.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Demand Planning, S&OP, and inventory management within the sportswear or related industry.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
- Strong project management and change management expertise to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with inventory, control, logistics, and merchandising teams.
