Job Description
A fantastic opportunity has become available, for a motivated, qualified Dental Nurse to join our team at South Coast Dental Specialists Wimborne.
South Coast Dental Specialists are a group of dedicated dental specialists and special interest practitioners in Dorchester and Wimborne, established in 2013, offering first class dental care to the local population. We accept referrals for treatment, advice and second opinion or treatment planning. We focus purely on providing specialist dental treatments and since we started, have developed a well-earned reputation for being a centre of dental excellence, as well as the destination of choice for dentists referring more challenging cases. All of our team are highly trained in-patient care, expert diagnosis and treatment planning. We provide high-quality treatment, using the best equipment and materials, in a stress-free environment.
A positive patient journey is paramount to our success. From the moment the patient walks through the practice doors to when their treatment is complete and they are referred to their dentist, our aim is that they (and their referring dentist) are kept fully always informed and walk away with a smile on their face. Our patients are our top priority, and we pride ourselves on working as a team and striving to be the best in our chosen field, whether our role is a receptionist, Dental Nurse, or specialist clinician. It is for this reason we are constantly looking to improve our service and ensure the best patient experience possible when they visit the practice. Every day, each one of us strives to work hard and ensure that all our patients receive the very best possible treatment and dental experience in endodontics, periodontics, orthodontics, prosthodontics, oral surgery, dental implants, and sedation.
Schedule
Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
8.5hrs per day
Skills Required
Team work
A passion for patient care
Knowledge of SOE, Word, Excel, and Microsoft
Ability to use own initiative
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Good interpersonal skills
Dental nurse qualification
GDC registered and up to date with CPD
