We have an exciting opportunity for a Full time Qualified or Trainee Dental Nurseto join our Lyme Bay Dental & Implant Clinic, part of the Portman Dental Care group, in Lyme Bay.

What makes us different at Lyme Bay Dental in Dorset is that our dedicated dental team’s approach is holistically patient centred and includes providing up to date private cosmetic and preventative treatments such as dental implants, teeth straightening, crowns, bridges, advanced dentures, white fillings and teeth whitening to name a few.

This role is open to both Trainees looking to start their dental career, and qualified Dental Nurses who are looking to expand their skill set.

About you as a Qualified Dental Nurse:
We welcome your application if you have the following:
- GDC Registered qualified Dental Nurse
- Enjoy working as part of a team, and are a good communicator who thrives upon delivering excellent standards of patient care
- Happy to be a key player in the team providing chair side assistance, ensuring that the correct materials and equipment are available during each clinical session
- Comfortable learning to perform high quality dental nursing whilst assisting each dentist, hygienist or therapist in all procedures.
- Drive to undergo training as required to develop your skills and abilities
About you as a Trainee Dental Nurse:
No previous dental experience is needed for this role as a Trainee. If you have a genuine interest in health and well-being, possess a specific interest in dentistry and have an aptitude to learn, grow and develop, we want to hear from you. At Portman Dental Care, you will have the resources and support you need to help you succeed in becoming a fully qualified Dental Nurse.
- Full Time hours: 35 hours per week (Mondays 7.45am-5.30pm, Tuesday 7.45am -5.30pm, Wednesdays 7.45am-5.30pm, Friday 7.45am-5.30pm)
- Training supported by our highly experienced team - your course will be overseen by an external course provider and is fully funded by Portman
- Permanent placement upon successful completion of course (average course duration is around 18 months)

- Special days - in addition to your holiday allowance and bank holidays, you are also able to take special days off for occasions such as your birthday, getting married, moving house and more
