Job Overview
- We are looking for a dedicated Dental Nurse Assessor to join our team and play a pivotal role in our apprenticeship programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, guiding, and supporting Dental Nurse apprentices during work place observations.
Job Responsibilities
- Assess the performance and progress of Dental Nurse apprentices through observation
- Provide constructive feedback and support to apprentices to help them develop their skills and overcome challenges
- Carry out observations at the apprentice’s workplace
- Maintain accurate records of apprentices' progress and achievements, ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality assurance requirements
- Foster a positive learning environment that promotes professional growth, teamwork, and mutual respect among apprentices and colleagues
Job Requirements
- Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant professional certifications and registrations
- Significant experience working as a Dental Nurse in clinical settings, with a thorough understanding of dental nursing practices and procedures
- Proven experience in assessing and supporting learners, preferably within an apprenticeship or vocational training context
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners from diverse backgrounds
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Willingness to travel to London for on-site assessments and training sessions, as required
- Commitment to continuous professional development and upholding high standards of practice in dental nursing education
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks and quality assurance standards governing dental nursing education and training
Successful candidate will be subjected to enhanced DBS check
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: £150.00-£200.00 per day
