Cornerstone Nurseries have been operating for 20 years this year and have a well established reputation in Basingstoke for providing a “home from home” environment with “exceptional care” and “a family feel”.
We have 2 settings locally and our flagship setting on Priestley Road is a must see. We boast a quarter of an acre of landscaped garden play space as well as 4 additional free flow play patios, a spacious indoor hall, 10 classrooms and delicious homecooked food made fresh in our 5* on site kitchen.
We use “in the moment” planning and a curriculum based on inspiring awe and wonder in our naturally curious and inquisitive children.
About the role
We are looking for a skilled, enthusiastic, level 3 qualified practitioner with a sound knowledge of child development to join our “Cornerstone Family” and help our children to grow and develop their imaginations and skills in line with the EYFS as well as building positive professional relationships with parents.
This role is available within our purpose built Baby Unit due to increasing numbers. This unit has a large staff team and a 1:3 ratio of carers to babies. Please do not apply for this role if you do not hold a relevant cache level 3 (or above) qualification or equivalent.
This role involves caring for our very youngest children as part of a dedicated team. Helping to oversee a busy Baby Unit of up to 27 babies and 9 staff.
You will be available to work flexible 8hr shifts between the hours of 7am-6pm Monday-Friday with a 1 hour unpaid lunch break with most staff choosing to work 4 x 7-5/8-6 and then a short/half day
