Are you a compassionate and experienced professional in the field of nursing home management? We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our clients close-knit team as a Deputy Home Manager in a small nursing home near New Malden, London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Home Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our intimate nursing home.
- Ensure the highest standards of care are maintained for our residents, promoting their well-being and dignity.
- Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Assist in the recruitment, training, and supervision of staff to create a nurturing and supportive working environment.
- Engage with residents' families, external healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and holistic care.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a senior management role within a nursing home setting.
- Preferably have a nursing qualification and valid NMC registration or previous experience as a deputy manager at nursing or residential home.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations governing nursing homes.
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
- A commitment to providing person-centered care.
