Deputy Care Manager - Domiciliary

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Deputy Care Manager to support the management team in the day-to-day operations of a high-quality domiciliary service based near to the Bedfordshire area.

• Competitive salary of £28,000 - £30,000 yearly

The Role:

• Work closely with the Registered Manager to effectively run the service
• Promote a positive culture in line with the company ethos and values
• Provide inspired leadership to the team ensuring exceptional service is delivered to clients
• Support the recruitment and training of Care Professionals and the office team
• Ensure that policies and procedures are adhered to by all employees
• Ensure the carers and support workers are fully compliant and speak to clients, families and support workers on a regular basis.
• Supervisions, spot checks, care plans, risk assessments etc.

The Candidate:
The ideal candidate should have:

• Experience in a Deputy Care or Care Manager role in a related care setting, or a care supervisor/ care coordinator wanting the next step up
• The ability to multi task and perform under pressure
• Good knowledge and understanding of compliance and legislative requirements of the Care Standards regulations
• Good working knowledge of IT Systems with experience of Microsoft Office or Google Suite
• A 'can do' attitude
