We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed person to join our Coastal Operations team based in our Bexhill and Camber Coastal Offices.
The successful applicant will support the Coastal Operations Officers with the safe and effective management of the Council’s beaches.

The successful candidate will have:

Excellent communication skills and the ability to diffuse difficult situations.

Ideally, you will have previous experience in a similar role.

Excellent IT skills are required as the post holder will be involved in completing daily logs, reviewing standard operating procedures and incident recording/monitoring.

The nature of this role is challenging, sometimes working under pressure to respond to unforeseen and urgent demands, but the right candidate will find it motivating and rewarding.

Full training will be provided. The role involves flexible weekend working and weekly hours will be 42.5 hours per week.
