Then Becky at JT Recruit would like to discuss this exciting opportunity with you. She is working with a NHS Trust who is seeking a professional, committed individual to support the Director of Estates and Facilities in the development, direction, and leadership of a high quality commercial and contract management function.
The role requires the active management of many high-profile Estates and Facilities contracts critical to the delivery of Trust objectives. It requires engaging with senior stakeholders across the organisation to ensure contracts can meet needs in a dynamic delivery environment. The post holder will ensure that the Trust maximises its opportunities from new commercial opportunities and from robust, intelligent management of its existing significant commercial contracts, including the PFI.
Under the direction of the Director, you will be responsible for supporting the Estates and Facilities team in the operational delivery to achieve maximum financial value from the Trust's commercial activities to support its vision to deliver outstanding patient care, be efficient and work together as a team based at their state-of-the-art facilities in Peterborough and across 2 further sites at Hinchingbrooke and Stamford
This includes providing expert advice to clinical and corporate services on the provision of safe, high quality, cost effective EFM services and responsibility for ensuring suitable and sufficient policies are in place for the directorate.
You will need to demonstrate you have a professional registration / accreditation in relevant discipline (e.g. RIBA, CIOB, RICS, CIBSE, etc) with an in-depth knowledge of an NHS environment. Preferred or in a large organisation EFM.
Be efficient in project management, have excellent report writing skills and be able to set out clear direction to inspire staff.
The post is initially for a 3-month period to commence immediately with a further 3 months extension.
The working hours will be from 08.30 -16:30, Monday to Friday however, a degree of flexibility can be applied, providing the core hours of 09.00 – 15.00 are covered.
